TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Oh My God.
The Twilight movie was EPICLY AWESOME.
I Loved it soooo much. It obviously wasn't as good as the books, but that was guaranteed. It had a really good balance of comedy, romance and horror. You should all go out and see it!!!!
In other news, the history gala is tomorrow night! I am dressing up as the Oracle at Delphi. My related snack is fortune cookies! ^___^
Omg, its hilarious, Rachel K is being the Terra Cotta army from Shi Huangdi's tomb on mount Li. Her snack? Terra Cottage Cheese. I laughed soooo much when i heard that! >w<
Anywhoodles...
Thanksgiving is on thursday, and i am thankful for: my family, my friends, manga and the internet. Its almost christmas time too! :D
In other news... I gashed my leg open on a jumping stool during dryland for skiing the other day. It hurt soooo bad. and now its really bruised so i can't ski yet. :(

I'mma be a witch. This year i decided to go classic with my costume (because thats new for me).
Anyways, the Halloween dance was a hit because they actually played GOOD MUSIC! :)

The VP debate just ended and it sufficiently showed how much Sarah Palin is such an idiot compared to Joe Biden. Seriously. HOW MANY FRICKING TIMES DOES SHE USE THE WORD 'MAVERICK'?!
Too much, I tell ya. Obama all the way for me, thanks. Who the heck is seriously going to vote for little miss "I can see Russia from my house!" ?
Yeah. Thought so.
And here comes October, one of my favorite months because the leaves and climate is very nice. Plus theres Halloween! I'm going to be a witch. All I need now is an actual witch hat and a broom. I've got the rest.
Homework load has been going pretty well lately. I'm managing it all. Tomorrow i have a test on Classical Greece. We finished Arabian Nights (thank god!) and have moved on to the Book of Genesis. Its actually kinda interesting. Except when there's whole chapters on "and someone was suchandsuch years old when they became the father of soandso. And so the years of someone were somenumber years; and he died" times 20. Yeah...
The WEEZER concert is tomorrow and i cant go! TT_TT
WHY!?!?!?!
Anywhoodles, thas about it for my life.
OH! My left ear is numb. Its not cold, its just numb. I can't feel it when something touches it. Its been like this for 28 hours and 45 minutes or so. We called the doctor and they said that if its not spreading, that its not an emergency. Which is good. I watch too many doctor shows, so when i first noticed it i got a bit paranoid. ^_^"

School overload

Hi all!
Upper school. Freshman year.
well, the beginning has been going good so far, my schedule's a little long, but i can deal with it. I'm having 14 hour days, sometimes 15 hours. Its pretty hectic what with summit singers and senior winds all the time. The homework load is surprisingly manageable though. We only get one night to do it, but since I have so much free time, it gets done before I go home at 6.
Now, twilight news:
Midnight Sun was supposed to be Stephenie Meyer's new book. It was Twilight from Edward's point of view. It was going to be an amazing book, until she gave it to someone she trusted for an edit. they leaked it onto the internet, and now she is never going to publish it. :(
stupid person... i bet she's not trusting them with anything for a while.
Back to me, I went to the Nativity fair today. It was ok, I felt out of place being the fantasy-loving non-church-goer that I am. It was fun, for the most part. The junk food was junky enough, the rides were ok, the market was tacky enough. The one part I really enjoyed was the button making booth. You could make a button with ANYTHING on it for just a dollar! I made a Pokemon one and a Twilight one. Something that was annoying though, was there was this cookie booth, and i LOVE cookies. But they were only selling them by the dozen! and for 5 fricking bucks! It was crazy! so i got a 50 cent donut instead.
Homecoming week is coming up at my school! I'm almost all set for the costumes. I have a pirate dress for pirate day, i have blue and gold stuff, i have coloured clothes (duh), and i have a toga-like greekish dress for the Toga dance!

School is looming. It is coming in a week or so. I am sad, and happy. I like school but i hate it too.

So, many of u have heard that the new harry potter movie (half-blood-prince) is being moved to next summer from its original November 21st release date. However, this means an empty spot in the movie releases calendar. So, what movie has been decided to be released THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE? you guessed it:

Back from the Bighorns!!!

Hi all!
Omg, I haven't been on in FOREVER!
Anyways, I'm back from Widji and feeling good. I'm about to summarize the ENTIRE trip, so you may want to sit down. If you don't have time to read this, wait until you do to start. Its pretty dang long.

Ok, So camp started on July 8th and ended on July 25th.

the 8th:
-Got on the bus UBER early
-Drove to camp

the 9th: *note: the days in camp are REALLY boring*
-did stuff in camp such as: pack out food, get pack, practice river crossing
-Sauna!

the 10th:
-did more stuff in camp

the 11th:
-Started Road trip!
-Camped at Fort Abraham Lincon Park in North Dakota

the 12th:
-more road trip!
-camped at trailhead

the 13th: DAY 1
-Hiked from Hunter
-I DROPPED MY CAMERA AND IT BROKE! :O
-Camped at ??? river

the 14th: DAY 2
- Hiked more
-Somewhat fixed my camera
-Saw lots of Horseback riders
-First snow sighting! (SNOWBALL FIGHT!)
-Camped at Elk Lake (SUPER BUGGY THERE)

the 15th: DAY 3
-Hiked through marshes and some forest to Cloud Peak Reservoir
-Got to Cloud Peak Reservoir before lunch, set up camp and day hiked off trail down the lake
-TL'd (trail lunch) at lower end of lake. Saw Cloud Peak and Bomber Mountian Bomber mountain is named that because in the early 20th century a WWII Bomber plane crashed into it. To date there is still bits of debris on the mountain.
-Went swimming (SO COLD)
-Camped

the 16th: DAY 4
-Hiked back to Elk Lake
-Hiked up different path that went up and up and up to HUGE pass.
-Reached top of pass, ah-mazing view!
-Ate morning snack of dried mango
-flew kite!
-hiked down other side of pass
-camped at another ??? river

the 17th: DAY 5
-Hiked up smallish hill to Seven Brothers Lakes
-Hiked down the brothers lakes
-Set up camp at second to last brother lake
- We were all sitting on the rocks doing 'Solo Sits'. Cory got back from scouting the path ahead and said she was hearing people across the lake. We all look, and sure enough theres a group of people coming down the HUGE steep boulder field across the lake. Rachel says "Wouldn't it be funny if it was the Boys group?" we all have a good laugh. A while later, we think we hear Max (guy counselor)! We keep looking at them and the leader is wearing a white long sleeve tshirt, just like Charlie (other guy counselor) always wears! We slowly watch them make their way across the lake and when they get to us, sure enough, its the guys group!
-camp at 6th brother

the 18th: DAY 6
We hike around the 6th brother and past the 7th up to a creek. We go up a series of boulder fields steeper than the ones at the 6th brother and finally reach Lower Frozen Lake. We break for pictures of the amazing mountains and some prunes (yum!). Keep hiking to other side of Lower Frozen and start navigating for Lake Angeline. After a brief TL ( I scooped up some snow from a nearby patch and poured Bug juice (kool-aid) on it. Mixed it up and i had myself a Snow Cone!) we made our way over many more boulder fields.
-Set up camp, had dinner, etc. we were sitting out stretching and talking and such when i look behind everyone else and see a cloud. Heading directly towards our campsite. seriously, the cloud was heading INTO our campsite. We were that high up. So, the cloud engulfed lake angeline and us too. We couldn't see the people at the other campsite just down the lake.
-Camped at Lake Angeline (pretty windy!)

the 19th: DAY 7
LAYOVER DAY! And my B-day!
-Stayed at Lake Angeline
-Peaked a mountian!!! after sleeping in :)
-Got to the top, attempted to fly kite, but it was too windy.
-came down. We found a rather large snow patch on that mountain, so we took out our raincoats and went sledding!!!! It was Awesome!
-camped at Lake Angeline (again)

the 20th: DAY 8
-hiked on path again!
-saw some people
-saw some Cattle
-camped at yet another ??? river

the 21st: DAY 9
-Hiked through burn area (lotsa down trees)
-got to sawmill creek, but got lost
-over TL, decided to backtrack to sign that said 'Cloud Peak Wilderness' because we knew where that was on the map and just off trail it to circle park (our last campsite and pick-up spot)
-Grace gets injured!!!! **NOTE: this is kinda gross, just FYI. Ok, Grace was at the front of the group and was stepping over some logs when she stumbled. the conversation went as follows:
counselors "you ok, grace?"
grace "yeah, I'm fine"
(she gets over the tree and walks a few paces, looks down at her leg. All color drains from her face)
grace "um, its bleeding..."
counselors "how bad is it?"
grace "bad enough to make me sick"
the tree had punctured the area just to the side of her shin. It was an inch or so deep. The counselors had everyone take off their packs and they bandaged it up. (it was really gross to look at tho, there was blood flowing and you could see a little piece of fat hanging out) so, the counselors called the boys group who had just gotten to Hunter where the van was and told them about the situation. We split grace's stuff into our packs and hiked back to Day 8's campsite. Romy then followed the road up a bit and hitchhiked to Hunter to get the boys. They drove back and the boys set up camp across the river while Charlie and Romy took grace to the hospital in Buffalo, WY to get stitches. She got 9 of them, three inside and six outside.

the 22nd: DAY 10
-drove into buffalo to meet up with the other groups
-went to the buffalo YMCA and took showers!!!! :D
-drove back
-camped at Fort Abraham Lincon park in North Dakota

the 23rd:
-Kept on driving
-got into Ely a day early, so we cant go back to camp until tomorrow (the next sessions groups haven't left for trail yet, so the cabins are full of people)
-camped at Fenske Lake

the 24th:
-got back into camp
-got our mail (thanks for the packages mom and hannah!)
-the Banquet! lots of parents came (not mine but thats ok)
-Skits! there were some kinda stupid ones done by intro campers, but thats just intro campers for you...
-Closing campfire was nice, but emily's wax guard (which are made of cardboard for some Brilliant reason) for her candle (we all hold tiny candles) caught fire.
-Saunas got bumped up an hour because the closing campfire ended late, so we sauna'd at 11, which was fun!
-Since Grace couldn't sauna because of her stiches, she and Romy hung out at the dining hall with some other groups waiting for saunas, so we went and met up with them and had s'mores and exchanged friendship bracelets.
-slept

the 25th:
-got on the bus
-came home

Hello again!
Its been quite a while since i last posted, but alas, its summertime.
Whew! I have A LOT to summarize...
here it goes:

Sunday (the 8th):
-I actually remember nothing from sunday...

Monday (the 9th):
-slept late
-computer'd
-went swimming

Tuesday (the 10th):
-Babysat the Anderson kids (Max and Ava) it was really easy tho, it was naptime so i just watched Law & Order.

Wednesday (the 11th):
-Babysat the Murphy kids (Ellie and Sam)
- computer'd

Thursday (the 12th):
- Got my braces off!!!! :D
- Saw 'Made of Honor'. I thought it was pretty crappy. Rachel K agrees with me and Hannah I thinks that it was cute. whatever.

Friday (the 13th):
-FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!
-Went and visited my cousin who lives in Carver, MN (where ever THAT is). She's not technically my cousin tho. Long story short, she's my half brothers cousin.
- First alley party of the year. My neighborhood holds alley parties every other friday. They're fun for the most part. I'm apparently 'Too Good' at hiding during zombie tag and such. Well excuse me for finding a good hiding spot where i can sit and not have to run around! Those boys are really non-observant... Oh, we also hard-boiled an egg. In lemonade. In a paper cup. In a bonfire. I got to eat it and it was really good! and no it didn't taste like lemons.

Saturday (the 14th):
-My two little 2nd cousins, Nathalie and Mary, came over. They played with my sister and left me alone. I think they're scared of me...
-Went to the pool and tanned for a REALLY long time. Like 2 hours almost. Luckily i didn't get burnt.

Sunday (the 15th):
-Fathers Day!
-Had a pretty big brunch with most of my family. just basic stuff.
-It was really sunny so we burned wood chips with magnifying glasses!

Monday (the 16th, and today):
-Woke up earlyish because of cleaning lady
-Went to Bibelot offices to hang out while mom was in a meeting.
-Walked to Kowalski's with Sarah and got Sushi for lunch! yumm!
-Played sims all afternoon

Thas about it.
This coming week is gonna be really busy tho... I have to babysit tomorrow, i have dentist appointments on wednesday AND thursday, i get my retainer on thursday, i'm going to Hannah's party for Lily, all that stuff. Plus I'm leaving for Du Nord on saturday!

Okay, this is just plain sad:

Exams are done!

Hi All!

EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!!! :)
Thank goodness. Here's a brief summary of last week:

Tuesday:
-Studied like a MADWOMAN (for Math)
-Had last day of art club. we watched Wallace & Gromit (a close shave and the wrong trousers).

Wednesday:
-Math Exam! It was pretty easy. I'm getting an A- in math, so it wasn't that hard for me.
-Studied like a MADWOMAN (for German)

Thursday:
-German Exam! Easier than i thought it'd be. I'm getting an A- in this too, so i'm doing pretty good.
-Studied like a MADWOMAN (for Science)
-Listened to some 8th grade speeches. Mine sucked and luckily i didn't get voted to present mine

Friday:
-Science Exam! Again, LOTS easier than i imagined. I was SO relieved! Science was the one i was the most worried about.
-Had an AMAZING pizza party in ASSP. We ate Domino's, drank Sprite and Orange Pop, and watched 'Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Arc' (the 1st one).
-Got a TON of free tabs and markers and such from the trash bins (everyone throws out perfectly useful stuff at the end of the year!)

Saturday:
-Slept until 11:30! it felt so nice to sleep in!
-Went shopping for Teacher Gifts! I got a Doremon flashlight for Mr. Benson (if u don't know who Doremon is, Google it), little Bear shaped salt and pepper shakers for Frau D, and three Golf balls for Mr. Tisel (and not just ANY golf balls, one has a geographic map of the world, another a political map of the world and the other a bunch of flags all over it)
-Went over to Hannah I's house for SPA NIGHT! We were walking around her yard and there were these HUGE ominous clouds. All of a sudden, it started HAILING! We screamed and ran inside then ran back outside to dance in the pouring rain and hail. We were totally SOAKED. But it was totally worth it. Then we did a bunch of spa stuff and watched Moulin Rouge and ate fondue.

Sunday:
-Went to bed at 2:30 am
-Woke up at 9:15ish and ate muffins
-Went to the Grand Ole Day parade on Grand ave. (duh)
-Walked all over the place and had a great time. then went home.
**MAYBE: go swimming at T & C

We just have school tomorrow and then Valley Fair! But they're thinking of cancelling it because of rain! They probably won't now that its forecasted to be UBER hot and sunny.

Memorial Day Weekend's end

Hello again all

breif summary of the weekend:

Thursday:
-nothing really happened thursday...
-science was boring as usual...
-we lost at ultimate Frisbee in PE

Friday:
-Played an UBER hard review game in Math
-Did a boring eval in english
-Finished my letter to Flora Jessop and mailed it in SS
-Watched National Treasure in ASSP

Saturday:
-Went swimming in the T&C pool! It was SOOOO COLD OUTSIDE! Plus the wind made it worse!
-Had a party for the ASSP staff. Maxime (the awesomely hawt french student-teacher) was there!!! He's one of the hottest guys i know. Many of the girls at school tried to convince me to invite them over for saturday night JUST so they could see him.

Sunday:
-went to REI and got a smexy new black bikini! plus a good skirt for the Moving On ceremony thing
-went swimming AGAIN. this time it was really warm and nice tho!
-did lotsa computering

Monday:
-went swimming AGAIN AGAIN! the air was a tich colder than sunday, but it was still enjoyable
-Studied for my MATH EXAM on Wednesday! ACK! My German is on Thursday and My Science is on Friday. THEN WE'RE DONE!!!!

Thas all peeps! Tomorrow is the last day of art club. :'( i love art club sooo much! Mr. Benson said he was so pleased with my work and since i wasn't doing any art next year i could do the MS Art club again! Mr. Benson is by far my favoritest teacher!

Hi thar peeples!

So... whats going on now...

Summary of the days since last post:

Saturday:
-got a haircut (cute and short yet again)
-saw IRON MAN! Really good movie peoples! a must see! Its like, Spiderman 1 good! (the 2nd and 3rd spidermans sucked)
-went shopping (unsuccessfully) for a dress for the 'Moving On' ceremony

Sunday:
-saw Stranger than Fiction. Really funny!
-Did homeworks :(

Monday:
-Last Day 1 (we have a 6-day rotation schedule @ my school) ever! they don't have it in the upper school!
-Finished my Polygamy poster! Finally! It looks great. Bright colours (neon actually) and good info too!
- Art club again! >w< I finished my Mew stamp and did some prints!

Tuesday:
-Last Day 2 ever!
-I Finished the Host! Its sooooo good. My advisory was supposed to be playing hide and go seek, and theres this HUGE pine tree near our playground. I climb it often and i wanted to finish my book. Since i knew nobody would find me there, i climbed up one handed (the other hand had the book) and read until i finished it! The ending is great, but i won't spoil it cuz Hannah hasn't finished it yet.
-In work study i realized the above and said "omg! todays the last day we have a work study on a tuesday in here!" so then this girl named Sophia (who is very very very frank) says "Its especially good because Daniel (a really annoying boy in my class) isn't here!" everyone could not stop laughing! >w< Austin was literally ROTFLOL.
-Art club! I did yet ANOTHER Pokemon chalk drawing. This time its Meowth!

Wednesday:
-Presented my speech in English class. :( not fun. It sucked. A LOT.
-Got my final grade for Math back! I GOT AN A- FOR MY FINAL GRADE!!! *jumps for joy*
-Presented my Polygamy poster! It went well, and i think it was the best of the presentations. (each group picked one person to present theirs to the whole class and i was picked best in the group!)

nothing special is happening soon...
the Town and Country Club (a country club my family is a part of) is opening their pool for the summer this weekend! I'm so happy! Now i can bike there and go swimming whenever i like.

the looming EXAMS

Hi all!

Well, to start off, here's a brief summary of whats happened lately:

Wednesday:
-my throat started getting funky
-i got a cold
-i don't remember what else...

Thursday:
-my throat got worse
-i saw my grade for the evil science test back on Tuesday. I got a B!
-i got my braces checked upon. I GET MY BRACES OFF IN TWO WEEKS!!!!! :D
-In art club i finished my awesome Pokemon drawings! Now we're doing rubber stamps, mine is another Pokemon! ^_^

Friday:
-Totally whack schedule
-all i had for lunch was ice cream because the burgers were awfully burnt
-my throat just about died. seriously. i sounded awful!
-I fell off the rock. Theres this 10ft tall plastic rock-thing that we climb on. I was standing on the side and fell off. My friends who witnessed it said i flipped in the air. I hit my knee on something really hard and couldn't walk for 30 minutes or so
-we saw the school play. they were okay... the second 1 act was annoying. it was 'If Guys wore Skirts' it sounds kinda funny, and it was, but it was written in the 50's to try and convince women not to wear pants. not cool.
-the ice pack that i'd taped to my knee leaked all over my jeans during the play! D:
-in after school program we saw 'The Water Horse' it sucked. bad.
-My mom took me home and we went to the doctor because my voice had gotten progressivley worse over the course of the day (and my knee still hurt)
-I'm okay and not sick, but i have to drink lots of tea and such to make my throat better... Plus the really nice guy nurse gave me a HELLO KITTY STICKER!!!! I already put it on my computer! its adorable! >w<

Anyways,
whuts happened lately:

Monday:
-SPA Idol again. We had our finals that day. I sung 'I'm no Angel' by Dido. We then voted, and I'm not gonna be in assembly. Oh well. Thats okay w/ me!
-I have noticed that my English speech/essay absolutely SUCKS. I honestly hate it. A LOT.
-Social studies! My project is going perfectly! Tomorrow when i put it all together, I'll try and take a picture so u all can see it!

Tuesday:
-In German class we had our Oral Assessment. We had to describe a variety of pictures into a microphone and give the file to our teacher Frau D. Pretty cool. (NOT)
-I don't like Gym class. Not. One. Bit. Although we did win our soccer game today!
-Wellness. Self explanatory. While we ARE done with birth control and abstinence and such, its still not that fun. We got to do the thing where the girls write down q's for the boys and vise versa. We answered this: Do girls only like guys who look good or is personality important too? the boys answered this: Do guys only ask out girls who they think will hook up with them?
- Science! We had our test on electricity today! Woo! not fun. I thought it was easy tho. I was so lucky, we had to pick letters out of a jar and on the back page we had to set up the corresponding circuit. I got B, and just had to set up one battery and two bulbs in parallel. IT WAS SO EASY! >w<
-Ur not gonna believe this:
I told Adam I like him. Through a note. I know he got it because i saw him reading it!

So, not much has happened lately... I haven't read any of the host since friday... i should probably do that. Yesterday we had a small family party celebrating my Grandma's B-Day, my Brother's Graduation and Mom's day. I didn't really do much else besides make food and sit around joking with my brothers. I also saw a play.

SUMMARY:

Saturday:
-Family party. Not that fun, plus my bro Evan forgot to get me some good Blue hair dye. He said he would get me some permanent dye because mine faded out.
-I saw the play 'Honk!' its about the Ugly Duckling and its a musical. It was pretty funny. My neighbor Madelyne was the 'Her Grace' (the head duck).

Sunday:
-Woke up @ 10:30 completely forgetting that it was Mothers day.
-Took a shower and got dressed and found that my sister had done a #2 and forgotten to flush XP
-Was told by my sister that since we'd missed breakfast we were in charge of lunch, dinner and all the laundry
-Worked on homeworks and such
-Went to super target to get a poster board and some groceries, but had to go to office max because target didn't have the right kind of posterboards
-Made dinner all by myself. I also made lunch, so my sister had to do ALL the laundry! :)
-Had a bonfire w/ my family in our backyard. We had an overload of spare sticks that mom'd picked up whilst gardening. I LIKES FIRE *w*

End of the Week = 3 more weeks till summer!

Hey all!
Again, nothing much is happening lately...
summary:
Thursday:
-we started soccer in PE, not that fun :(
-I read a ton of The Host

Friday:
-We went on our community service trip thing. My group went to Crossroads Elementary, where we split into groups and helped the teachers and played games with the kids. It was pretty fun, all the little girls in my class were clingy and cute, and all the boys were obsessed with Naruto and thought i was awesome because i know some Jutsus (ninja spells)
-On the way back from the above event (we were taking the city bus) our bus (the 84D) broke down. Seriously. We heard the bus driver on the intercom and he said, "ok, at the next stop i need everyone to get off, the bus is smoking." So we got off and had to walk almost 2 miles to get back to school. AND because we got there pretty late, we didn't get to see Frankenstein (our science class is doing electricity and so this was relevant) :(
-In ASSP (after school study program) we watched Ratatouille. I didn't really, because i've seen it WAY too many times, but i was there and eating popcorn. During recess i noticed that my Crocs are über light. I tried kicking them off the swings and the farthest they got was about 20 feet.

Thats pretty much it...
Oh! funny thing that happened on the bus ride back from Crossroads!
Irene and I were sitting in the seats that are supposed to be for handicapped people (it was SUPER crowded on that bus) and this old guy with a cane got on the bus. He took his cane and tapped the window behind us. We didn't know what he meant, so we looked at the window. That was where the Handicapped sign was. He was tapping the window until we got out of our seats. kinda annoying... everywhere there was a place to stand it was full so we were just filling spaces. w/e...

Awesome Book!

Hey all!
OMG lots has happened l8ly! So, here's a recap:

Monday:
1. nothing happened, it really sucked.

Tuesday:
1. The Host came out! (new book by author of twilight)
2. I had art club and finished my awesome chalk drawing of Jigglypuff (from Pokemon)
3. In wellness class we got to have a lady from Planned Parenthood come, we met Vage (a plastic model of the lady parts) Tomorrow we get to meet Woody (i bet u can guess what he is)
4. I had Piano class -_- but only 2 more and then i have all summer w/ out it!

Wednesday: (today)
1. NATHALIE GOT ME A SIGNED COPY OF THE HOST!!!!!! She actually went to Mall of America and waited in line for an hour and got Stephenie Meyer to sign '2 Alicia, S.M.' *w* i was sooooo happy!
2. My social studies project is going great! All i gotta do is get my poster and pictures and put it all together!

A fairly Dismal weekend

Hello all and happy Cinco de Mayo (tomorrow for me, probably today for most people reading this now)

My weekend was pretty boring... on saturday i did: Nothing at all
Today some stuff happened tho.
I got up at around 9:30ish, which is pretty early for a Sunday on my schedule.
I did homework and took a shower and at 2:30ish i went to my brother Ben's Girlfriend Sarah's Parent's house for her graduation party. She has a HUGE family btw, she is one of 9 kids i think, plus she's the youngest and just finished college. All the rest of her siblings are married and have kids. One of her cousins (i think) was my age. He was nice, his name was Tyler and he had curly brown-blonde hair. his eyes were pwetty. He was really nice, plus we had a lot in common. We both LUV the northern wilderness. We're both going into High School next year, and we're roughly the same age (I think he's like a month older than me). Yeah, so that party was nice, plus Sarah's oldest brother is a chef (just like my oldest brother) and he made the entire meal. It was yummy :P
Lets see what else...
My Polygamy project is doing well. We've finished the Research part and are now working on writing up the stuff for the poster. I'm excited to get mine finished because the ones that are posters get put up in the front hall of the school where EVERYONE has to look at them! :D

OH! I just remembered. The sound on my computer is broken. The speakers and the headphone jack don't work. Yes, i've tried un-muting it and everything there is to try. Its still broken. I'll have to talk to Ms. Brass (the computer teacher @ school) about it... blech... I'll probably have to send in my computer and I'll be computer-less for a few days. Not Cool. I have a lot of work on my computer because of my English essay and my Social Studies project! >.<
Ok, here's the update on my computer. As it turned out, theres another mode of muting your computer besides the thing on the front of your computer and the one on the toolbar. Its a Fn command (Fn + esc). So, Ms. Brass told me to try that, and now it works again! :)
Here's a funny song in Chinese, my friend Hannah showed it to me (her blog is called Tales of the Dark Side) The beginning is a little weird, but the rest is funny!

I woke up too early

Hey all.
I woke up really early AGAIN today. I did it yesterday too. So its 6:55 in the morning and I'm here blogging because i have nothing better to do. :P
whats gonna happen today...
All of my social studies research has to be done by the end of class today. Mine already is, so I'm set. At my school I'm in this activity called SPA IDOL, which is basically american idol, but at our school. I don't have a song for today! Last time I sang 'Life for Rent' by Dido. I think i might sing 'Hand of Sorrow' by Within Temptation, but its a bit high for my voice.
so, thats all for now... I might edit this once i get back from school so that you all can see how my day went, but probably not.

Taking a stand for whats right

Hey there
Today we worked on our taking a stand project in Social Studies. My subject is Polygamy, where a guy marries more than one wife at the same time. Its pretty gross. Its practiced in a few religions, but I'm specializing on the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. Also known as the Mormon Church. The weird thing is that only a very small group of the Mormons practice polygamy. It was officially outlawed in the Mormon religion in 1890. Its been banned by the US government since 1862. There are some small hidden groups that do it though. Most people have heard of the recent case in Texas where 413 children were seized from their homes. This was because there were only about 10-12 dads and tons of moms and tons and tons of kids. Yeah, they're having a nightmare over custody issues.
In other news, the sub that we had yesterday for German and will have tomorrow too was subbing for Ms. Ward, our social studies teacher. It was okay, but I didn't like it that much...
Yeah...
